Passeig de Gràcia

‘Passeig de Gràcia’ is one of the major avenues in Barcelona and one of its most important shopping and business areas, containing several of the city's most celebrated pieces of architecture. It is located in the central part of ‘Eixample’, stretching from ‘Plaça Catalunya’ to ‘Carrer Gran de Gràcia’.

There are lots of luxurious shops along“Passeig de Gràcia”. As a result, it is sometimes compared to walk in the “Champs Elysees” in Paris and the “Fifth Avenue” in New York.

We love ‘Passeig de Gràcia’ because we can have a walk while seeing Barcelona and its magnificent buildings. Among these buildings, the most important and recognized ones are:

· Casa Batlló by Antoni Gaudí (1904-1906)

· Casa Bonaventura Ferrer by Pere Falqués i Urpí (1906)

· Casa Milà "La Pedrera" by Antoni Gaudí (1905-1910)

We recommend this avenue if you want to go shopping, have a walk and see a luxurious part of Barcelona.

Curious fact: “Passeig de Gràcia” is regarded as the most expensive street in Barcelona and in Spain.

How to get there?

We can go by metro: stop at “Passeig de Gràcia” (L1) and “Diagonal” (L3).

We can also get there by bus and train, but we always recommend the metro to move around in Barcelona.
